Fully machined in the USA, T.L. Johnson’s new Mid-Arbor Fly Reels are setting new standards in classically-designed fly reels. All reels are made from 6061-T6 aluminum with hard anodizing on all exposed components. The Mid Arbor design comes with a Multi Disk Rulon/ Anodized Aluminum system, fully sealed. An addition of a self-lubricating, fiber-reinforced polymer bearing make this fly reel a lifetime fishing companion. Other features are an easily-removable spool, a simple change from left to right-retrieve without the need for tools, and a temperature rating of our drag material of minus 100 degrees Fahrenheit to 500 degrees Fahrenheit. The laser-etched logos and size markings will never wear off, and the generous palming ring will slow even the most stubborn of fish. Our Mid-Arbor reels are truly classic.
